An online marketplace is seeking a Remote Knowledge Base Senior Data Modeler Ontologist in Brooklyn.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain a comprehensive and flexible upper ontology
  • Write and maintain documentation around product metadata
  • Work on software requirements, evaluation, implementation, and iteration

Qualifications Include:

  • Can make the best decisions possible with the research and analytics available
  • Balance the prioritization of short-term opportunities and longer-term foundational changes
  • A love of investigating complex metadata tangles
  • Demonstrated ability with tools and languages used for storing, governing and querying data
