Job Summary
An eCommerce platform has an open position for a Remote Knowledge Base Staff Software Engineer in Brooklyn.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible for describing, collecting, combining and serving product metadata to our internal partner
- Be responsible for constructing and maintaining the systems necessary to store, transform, and serve product metadata
- Assist with completing the initial version of our system and making enhancements for our customers as we start our first integrations
Position Requirements Include:
- Have experience building and maintaining large JVM-based distributed systems
- Have a growth mindset and solve ambiguous problems with many implications
- Have worked on a service-oriented architecture-based repository
- Ability to recognize that the best systems are built by teams that have strong communication practice
- Have experience nurturing collaboration on teams you work within
