Remote Korean Interpreter

Job Summary

To support the delivery of critical interpreting services, the Remote Korean Contract Interpreter will provide consecutive interpretation, adhere to established protocols, and continuously enhance their subject matter knowledge while working on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation for various clients
• Follows all interpreter protocols and procedures as required by clients
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized knowledge in fields such as medical and legal interpretation

Required qualifications:

• Submission of an updated resume in English at the time of application
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a rating of technical proficiency (3 or higher on the ILR scale)
• Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session with a passing score
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment with a passing score
• A signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance
