Remote Language Grader

Job Summary

Evaluating student submissions in Spanish and French, the part-time Remote Language Grader will assess performance based on a grading rubric, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately read and measure student performance using the provided grading rubric
• Collaborate with course leads to deliver constructive feedback to students
• Check submissions for plagiarism and grammar, and participate in calibration efforts for quality consistency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; Master's degree preferred
• Current or prior high school or post-secondary teaching experience in Spanish and French is required
• Subject matter competency in Spanish and French
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit sound judgment in decision-making
