Job Summary

Seeking skilled interpreters for upcoming EOIR assignments, the remote position of Rare Language Interpreter will focus on providing interpretation services in specific rare languages via Webex or telephone.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide remote interpretation services for EOIR assignments in designated rare languages
• Utilize Webex or telephone platforms to facilitate communication between parties
• Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate and effective interpretation

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in one of the specified rare languages (e.g., Shuar, Achuar-Shiwiar, Magar, etc.)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
• Physical presence in the U.S. is required
• Experience in interpretation, particularly in legal settings, is preferred
• Proficiency with remote communication tools, such as Webex
