Job Summary
A security and aerospace company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Laser Optical Principle Systems Architect in Bothell.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify, conduct, manage or lead laser weapon system/subsystem, trade studies to enable decomposition of requirements
- Work with external customers to support the development of laser weapon system/subsystem requirements by analyzing user’s needs
- Plan, facilitate or perform reliability, safety, field deployable designs and other specialty engineering analyses
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 10 years of experience developing and building laser and optical systems
- An active secret clearance or higher is required
- Experience in leading successful directed energy technical teams
- Demonstrated track record of successfully taking technology from laboratory through the product development cycle to the field
- Demonstrated detailed and extensive technical expertise and application of laser weapon systems and subsystems
- Broad extensive technical knowledge of directed energy, lasers, and optical systems ranging from laser physics, laser technology, etc
