Job Summary
A software company that specializes in eCommerce solutions for online businesses has a current position open for a Remote LATAM Backend and API Engineer .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Integrating, extending, and expanding company’s products and services to support merchants and their customers in Latin America
- Designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems across company’s engineering teams
- Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience building or supporting online products
- Demonstrated passion for designing systems that are elegant abstractions over complex financial industry patterns/practices
- Ability to work with engineers across the company to build new features
- Ability to improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the company
- Ability to build a new API for our users, or iterate on existing APIs
- Ability to build automated systems to ensure company is meeting the legal and regulatory obligations in all the countries we operate
