Job Summary

A global life sciences company is filling a position for a Remote Late Phase Medical Writing Director.

Must be able to:

• Ensure that the Medical Writing staff is adequately trained and capable of delivering high quality documents
• Support the Head of the group on short-term and long-term strategies
• Predict and plan resource requirements and staffing needs, plus manage Medical Writing staff

Position Requirements Include:

• Minimum of first degree in life sciences (or equivalent); advanced degree (e.g., PhD or Masters) preferred
• Typically minimum 10 years medical writing experienc
• People management skills per a minimum of 5 years line management experience
• Knowledge of the relationship and regulatory obligation of the CRO industry with pharmaceutical
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical research, the drug development process, and applicable regulatory guidelines
