Job Summary
A religious institute for higher education is in need of a Remote Latin American Ethnomusicology Professor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Teaching responsibilities include developing and delivering elearning courses in Latin American ethnomusicology
- Functioning as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Working with an instructional technologist to design, develop and deploy his or her own courses
Qualifications for this position include:
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in Ethnomusicology with specific background in Latin American music and culture
- A vibrant Christian testimony
- Teaching experience, preferably online
- Academic publications in the area of ethnomusicology
- Academic or professional presentations in the area of ethnomusicology
- Practical missions experience in his/her own country of origin or beyond
