Job Summary

A non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate voter oppression is filling a position for a Remote Law and Policy Associate Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as policy expert for designated states and identify and develop policy solutions and priorities
• Design and deliver policy content for campaign work
• Develop deep expertise in voting rights policy

Required Skills:

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience developing policy and legislation
• Experience analyzing, interpreting, and drafting legislative language
• Ability to articulate legal concepts and other complex issues and to communicate them to a variety of audiences
• Familiarity with election laws and voting rights issues.
• Experience working with diverse communities
• Commitment to acting on the belief that racial equity and social justice are critical components of the work
