Job Summary
A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Law and Policy Associate Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design and deliver policy content for VRL's campaign work
- Adapt documents and policy arguments for a wide variety of audiences
- Serve as policy expert for designated states
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and drafting legislative language
- Ability to articulate legal concepts and other complex issues
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience developing policy and legislation
- Strong preference for candidates who have familiarity with election laws and experience working on voting rights issues
