Job Summary
A travel software developer is in need of a Remote Lead API Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Writing code that simplifies the complexities of travel discovery at scale
- Working with both internal and external stakeholders to build the best APIs for finding and serving up great place data
- Taking complex geo-data concepts and simplify them into powerful abstractions that are quick and easy for other developers to implement
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years professional development experience
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience growing or working on a highly available web service at scale
- Experience with full stack web development and versatility across client, server and database
- Comfortable using Git and Linux command line
- Understanding of native web app architecture and modern frameworks
