Job Summary

A research company is seeking a Remote Lead Bioinformatics Research Scientist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing patent applications, reports, scientific publications, conference presentations
• Providing technical/scientific leadership in design and development of new approaches to complex problems
• Developing new approaches for data analyses and conduct bioinformatics research

Required Skills:

• BS with 7+ years experience in an industrial or academic setting working with clinical and biological data
• Significant relevant publication or patent record, and/or at least four years of relevant R&D experience in bioinformatics/algorithm development
• Experience working in a clinical environment
• Relevant technologies include non-invasive prenatal screening, liquid biopsy, somatic variant calling, WGS, CNV/structural variant calling, pop gen
