Job Summary

A worldwide leader in telecommunications services is filling a position for a Remote Lead Cloud Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Drive technical long term strategy for the Lumen Edge Compute platform in alignment with our business needs
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software that enables the Lumen Edge Compute platform
  • Develop, document and communicate these solutions such that they can be operated at scale by our 24x7x365 operations teams

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors Degree with 7+ years of experience building large scale data center compute technologies
  • Cloud based architecture development and design experience
  • Knowledge across all compute Operating systems
  • Experience and technical knowledge of compute hardware
  • 5+ years’ experience with design and deployment of VMWare and RedHat OpenStack
  • Ability to incorporate in-house developed software, open-source and commercial software to create an overall technical solution
