Job Summary

A software development company specializing in solutions for the health and life sciences industries has a current position open for a Remote Lead Data Analytics Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Apply dimensional modeling best practices to design an enterprise DW
  • Participate in enterprise data governance activities
  • Provide data modeling guidance to line-of-business contributors to the enterprise DW and fellow analytics engineers

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years in a DBA or data architect role
  • Significant experience with AWS Redshift and one or more BI tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker, Apache Superset)
  • Strong understanding of relational database and data warehousing concepts (e.g. OLAP, dimensional modeling)
  • Very strong SQL query skills
