Job Summary
A financial technology company is seeking a Remote Lead Data Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Design a central Metadata layer
- Define the end-to-end architecture
- Directly assist with data analysis
Position Requirements Include:
- 10+ years foundational software engineering experience across front end, API/Middleware and back-end
- Hands on experience both as an IC and leading distributed and cross functional teams
- Experience with modern Data Engineering pipelines for large scale DBs
- Experience with performance tuning front end and middleware layers
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, GraphQL (preferred)/REST APIs, SQL, OLTP Data Modeling
- Experience building highly scaled distributed solutions for high concurrency as well as performance
