Job Summary

A retail company is seeking a Remote Lead Data Engineer in Austin.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Enabling self-service tooling for analytics teams
  • Overhauling our centralized data store for analytics and operations
  • Integrating and deploying tooling for consumer identity resolution and marketing activation

Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of security and privacy 'by design' frameworks
  • Knowledge of data science lifecycle or test/learn models
  • Knowledge of design patterns and data engineering best practices
  • Strong programming experience in SQL, Python
  • Experience delivering at scale with Snowflake, Hive, Spark, Airflow
