Remote Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A data and market intelligence company has a current position open for a Remote Lead DevOps Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide tools and an environment to enable seamless, secure, software development
- Define, lead, and manage initiatives to evolve existing AWS infrastructure implementations
- Evolve and optimize continuous delivery pipelines in collaboration with our development teams
Qualifications Include:
- Expert knowledge of Linux, the Linux kernel, various shells, distributions, and scripting
- Expert knowledge of container management systems (Kubernetes, Nomad, ECS)
- Hands on experience, in a lead capacity, architecting, implementing, and then managing container management platforms
- Expert knowledge of networking, including container networking patterns such as overlays, service meshes, etc
- 8+ years of experience developing and deploying/managing immutable infrastructure using Packer and Terraform
- 5+ years experience developing solutions in Python and/or Golang
