Job Summary

A data and market intelligence company has a current position open for a Remote Lead DevOps Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide tools and an environment to enable seamless, secure, software development
  • Define, lead, and manage initiatives to evolve existing AWS infrastructure implementations
  • Evolve and optimize continuous delivery pipelines in collaboration with our development teams

Qualifications Include:

  • Expert knowledge of Linux, the Linux kernel, various shells, distributions, and scripting
  • Expert knowledge of container management systems (Kubernetes, Nomad, ECS)
  • Hands on experience, in a lead capacity, architecting, implementing, and then managing container management platforms
  • Expert knowledge of networking, including container networking patterns such as overlays, service meshes, etc
  • 8+ years of experience developing and deploying/managing immutable infrastructure using Packer and Terraform
  • 5+ years experience developing solutions in Python and/or Golang
