Job Summary
A non-profit technology organization has an open position for a Remote Lead Editor and Writer in San Francisco.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create and manage the editorial calendar for the company's blog properties
- Collaborate with other leaders at the company and in our project communities to create innovative story ideas
- Manage and monitor the performance of each property and establish plans to improve awareness, readership and subscriptions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- 10+ years experience implementing successful content marketing strategies for businesses and non-profit organizations
- Knowledge and perspective on the unique value of engineers and maintainers who contribute to open source projects
- Bachelor’s degree in English or experience in journalism or related field
- Strong KPI skills and evaluation, ie. Google Analytics, etc
- Detail Oriented and Analytical
