Job Summary
A game development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Lead Game Designer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Mentor a team of gameplay and level designers to create innovative game experiences
- Collaborate with the game director to develop a shared vision that merges gameplay and story
- Work with the story team to break the story with an eye toward gameplay
Qualifications for this position include:
- 7+ years of experience in game design
- Significant experience developing games for console or PC platforms
- Exceptional creativity and design skills
- Significant involvement in 2 published games, with at least 1 project at senior level
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of player mentality and motivations
