Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare organization has an open position for a Remote Lead General Medicine and OBGYN Coder in Denver.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the work of the associates in the department and implementing directives
- Participating in human resource functions, such as the interview process
- Generating reports and preparing data for the PB Coding team
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P), required
- Computer software skills with MS Office products, Word and Excel
- Minimum of five (5) years in Coding
- Extensive General Medicine and OB/GYN experience, highly preferred
