Job Summary
A telecommunications and IT services firm is in need of a Remote Lead Incident Response and Malware Analysis Information Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Actively hunting the enterprise for insecure, suspicious or malicious activity
- Updating and maintaining response guides for accuracy
- Facilitating the coordinated response to an intrusion
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in incident response, computer forensics security, and risk assessments
- Excellent understanding of common computing attack vectors
- Expert in Networking, Operating System (MS/Unix/Linux), database, or programming skills
- Possess, or be willing to pursue, applicable professional/technical certifications
- Must be willing to obtain GSA suitability to support Federal Programs
