Job Summary
A consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Lead Java Engineer in New York City.
Must be able to:
- Architect and conceptualize, solution, build, test and release scalable, flexible, clean, and performant code
- Work with product management teams to understand & iterate on functional requirements & create technical specs
- Work with a global team of developers, spearheading smaller tech initiatives and deliver on predefined timelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- At least seven years of professional / enterprise level cloud SaaS development
- Technical experience building RESTful APIs w/ OData v4 support in C#
- Clear understanding of t-SQL and its usage with OData
- Knowledge on microservice architecture, containerization, and microservice communication patterns
- Understanding of serverless architecture including PaaS or FaaS models within AWS, Azure or GCP
- Professional knowledge on development strategies, driving code standards, peer code reviews & end to end development
