Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Lead Node.js Developer in Boston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Creating a Windows native, Electron.js based video streaming application
  • Creating all client-side installer logic, definition and maintenance of the central cache
  • Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript
  • Strong experience Node.JS and frameworks available for it such as Express
  • Understanding asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc
  • Previous experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue and Angular
