Job Summary
An environmental non-profit organization is filling a position for a Remote Lead Organizer.
Must be able to:
- Actively participate in field team leadership meetings
- Draft host toolkits for key days of action
- Help develop organizing plans for our network and activists
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to travel, sometimes as short notice
- Proven track record of organizing effective teams and leading effective trainings and meetings
- Ability to agitate, coach, and hold field staff accountable to ambitious goals
- 5+ years of experience in nuts and bolts of organizing
- Experience organizing with an orientation to movement building and broader social justice approach
- 3+ years experience working on grassroots campaigns to influence decision makers
