An information technology company has an open position for a Remote Lead PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting development teams with database design
- Troubleshooting database performance and data issues
- Implementing industry-wide best practices around database administration
Qualifications for this position include:
- 10+ years of relational database administration experience.
- Experience administering PostgreSQL databases in a private cloud environment
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL functionality and features.
- Experience working collaboratively with application development teams to implement solutions
- Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment and with very large database objects
