Job Summary

An internet-based customization business conglomerate is filling a position for a Remote Lead Privacy Counsel.

Must be able to:

• Lead a team of privacy lawyers to prioritize projects based on potential risks and opportunities
• Mentor and empower junior team members
• Provide strategic support to privacy leaders

Required Skills:

• Licensed attorney with 6+ years of data protection experience and some background with e-commerce companies, SaaS platforms or both
• Strong expertise in privacy regulation and compliance strategies in North America and the European Union
• Experience managing and mentoring other attorneys
• The ability to explain complex legal issues and requirements clearly and concisely to a non-legal audience
• Comfortable in a fluid, decentralized work environment with a focus on agile software development
