Job Summary

A global company specializing in consumer transaction technologies is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Lead Site Reliability Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership, insight, and guidance
  • Contributing to development of operational automation and self-service frameworks
  • Managing projects to completion, as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years equivalent, hands-on experience in information technology
  • Experience following modern IT practices influencing Change, Configuration, Release and/or development
  • Professional experience implementing and supporting service mesh technology
  • Capable of technical deep dives into cloud-based infrastructure, databases, and application, specifically in designing, coding, operating, and supporting high-performance, highly available services
  • Extensive experience working with DevOps/SRE & Agile (Scrum) methodologies; general understanding of both
