Job Summary
A non-profit organization that focuses on bringing equality for all has an open position for a Remote Lead Social Justice Full Stack Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Practicing and enthusiastically sharing engineering methodologies and tools throughout all stages of the project lifecycle
- Influencing project planning and design using usability research, analytics, and other metrics
- Participating in code review, architecture discussions, and feature prioritization
Skills and Requirements Include:
- At least 4 - 5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer
- Experience coaching and leading other developers
- Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing web or mobile applications
- Expert knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, Ruby)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
