Job Summary

A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Lead Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Removing roadblocks and/or bottlenecks for the team and resolve questions in real time
• Providing technical oversight over feature development, ensuring appropriate test coverage, and reviewing and approving pull requests
• Participating in elaboration and design sessions with other engineers, architects and product managers, providing constructive and honest feedback during sprint retrospectives to understand business requirements, translating business needs into technology solutions

Skills and Requirements Include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical disciple or equivalent work related experience
• 5+ years working as a full stack developer, desirably in a web-based or multi-tier system
• Experience with the following technologies: note
• Knowledge of GitHub best practices for team development involving feature branches, pull requests, release tags, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to engage and collaborate with with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
