Job Summary
A legal services provider is in need of a Remote Lead SQL Database Administrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to a global team of SQL database administrators
- Assign and prioritize work to the team to ensure high priority incidents and service requests are being actioned timely
- Architect, design, install and configure large and complex databases with high-availability and offsite disaster recovery
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 20+ years IT Operations with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices
- 20+ years Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
- Solid understanding of best practices for SQL Server administration
- Thorough understanding of relational database design and concepts
- Expert skills in T/SQL and Powershell scripting and stored procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server engine internals, query execution plans, query optimization & performance tuning
