Job Summary

A video game company is seeking a Remote Lead UI Programming Engineer in Seattle.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Presentation Director and lead the UI implementation team to build the foundation and develop our user experience
• Work on cutting-edge engine technology, building user interfaces that complement the gameplay visuals
• Mentor UI engineers in crafting systems that are cleanly designed, favor simplicity, and are flexible enough to allow for future expansion

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 5+ years programming experience
• Demonstrated strong C/C++ programming skills
• Experience having shipped at least 2 games as UI engineer for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or MacOS
• Experience having developed games on game consoles and PC/Mac
• Previous experience collaborating with designers and artists to implement the vision of the game
• Ability to design and implement UI screens and components in C++
