Job Summary
An independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution is filling a position for a Remote Lead User Experience Designer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Coach individual designers on career and professional growth
- Create visualizations, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to improve business and IT understanding
- Lead collaborative design activities to drive insights and consensus among decision-makers
Skills and Requirements Include:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of design, visual design, or digital/software design
- Familiarity with tools to drive collaborative design, communications, prototyping, and visual representations
- Effective written, oral, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong ability to synthesize divergent research and insights and communicate clearly to developers
- 6+ years of experience as an experience designer
- 2 years in a role where the designer worked in a leadership capacity
