Job Summary
A provider of support and service to doctoral candidates has a current position open for a Remote Leadership Dissertation Committee Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve on doctoral candidates’ dissertation committees as a member or a chair
- Review candidate dissertation drafts and provide substantive feedback and guidance
- Support candidates in completing necessary doctoral processes such as submissions for internal reviews and IRB approvals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Terminal degree in a field associated with the doctoral programs such as leadership, education, and healthcare
- Evidence of professional research and/or scholarly endeavors and expertise in the field
- Capable of interpreting and writing an analysis of sophisticated educational research documents
- Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite applications proficiently
- Ability to use or learn how to use appropriate technology, including video conferencing and learning management systems
- Understands and practices appropriate relationships with students, colleagues, staff, and administrators
