Job Summary
An automotive service company is in need of a Remote Leave of Absence Human Resource Shared Services Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Administering and coordinating family and medical leave, family illness requests, and absences
- Preparing biweekly payroll disability pay notification report
- Participating on Human Resources and/or company-wide project teams
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
- 4 + years of experience in leave of absence administration
- Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedure
- Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties
- Solid and hands-on understanding of leave laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy
