Job Summary

An automotive service company is in need of a Remote Leave of Absence Human Resource Shared Services Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Administering and coordinating family and medical leave, family illness requests, and absences
  • Preparing biweekly payroll disability pay notification report
  • Participating on Human Resources and/or company-wide project teams

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 4 + years of experience in leave of absence administration
  • Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedure
  • Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties
  • Solid and hands-on understanding of leave laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy
