Job Summary

A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Legacy Microsoft Access Database Support Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing tasks to sustain Microsoft Access legacy existing databases
  • Providing on call support during normal business hours
  • Performing tasks to assist users with data normalization, standardization, and cleansing efforts

Qualifications Include:

  • Be on-site at Washington, DC for an occasional meeting
  • Experience in Microsoft Access Database administration and application database development
  • Experience in concepts of relational database design and data normalization
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in application development and management in the Microsoft Access environment
  • Experience in event-driven, object-oriented programming, and ability to interpret Access’ native objects
