Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Legal Bill Review Paralegal.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting the review/audit of invoices from outside law firms
- Ensuring that law firm practices comply with Company litigation management guidelines
- Reviewing appeals of invoice deductions from outside law firms.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel up to 20% of the time may be required
- Have a B. A., or a Juris Doctorate/LLM degree; or a Paralegal Certificate
- Or passed the paralegal competency examination, or have a high school diploma and a 10 years of experience
- 5+ years law firm experience as either attorney or paralegal
- Experience with electronic billing program and budgeting
- Project management, problem solving and data analysis skills
