Job Summary
A publicly-held company specializing in media, digital, and communications services is in need of a Remote Legal Counsel in Columbia.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Draft & negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including purchase & sale agreements, reseller agreements, data licenses, etc
- Analyze comments from opposing representation and propose solutions
- Provide risk assessments and oversee contract administration and compliance
Position Requirements Include:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, with preference for experience in marketing, advertising, technology, data, etc
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Possesses a law degree (e.g., Juris Doctor) from an ABA-approved law school
- Knowledge of legal principles in relation to contract law, marketing/advertising law, data, intellectual property, licensing, etc
- Can work autonomously, take initiative and be pro-active in addressing new matters or challenges
