Remote Legal Director

Job Summary

A home furnishings company is filling a position for a Remote Legal Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable investor documents, drafting and managing board and stockholder approvals
• Overseeing all facets of the Legal function at Parachute with strong support from the Executive team and Finance
• Providing intellectual property maintenance

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials, with admission to at least one state Bar
• 5+ years in house experience, with exposure to a variety of legal functions
• Ability to multitask, work independently
• Experience managing to a budget assuming the need for third parties and outside counsel
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Working with a variety of departments, skill sets, and employment levels
