Job Summary
To support remote legal depositions, the part-time hourly Remote Legal Guardian will prepare case materials, manage live proceedings, assist participants, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely delivery of accurate transcripts.
Key responsibilities
- Review case materials and research terminology prior to depositions
- Host and manage remote legal proceedings via video conferencing platforms
- Monitor live depositions and ensure smooth operation while troubleshooting any technical issues
Required qualifications
- Strong technical proficiency with Zoom or similar video conferencing tools
- Experience in legal support, court reporting, or a related field is a plus
- Ability to remain composed in high-attention live settings
- Comfortable with an on-call, variable schedule environment
- Notary Public commission is a plus
