Job Summary

A college is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Legal Studies Adjunct Instructor in New York City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Initiating, facilitating, interacting and moderating classroom forums
  • Delivering lessons to undergraduate students
  • Replying to emails within 24 hours

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Attend discipline specific and administrative meetings as scheduled
  • J.D. or a Masters Degree in Legal Studies (or related discipline)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching
  • College-level teaching experience
  • Online teaching experience required
  • Prior experience with Blackboard 9 or 9.1
  • High level of technology proficiency is required and access to a reliable high-speed internet connection
