Job Summary

A global healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Licensed Behavioral Health Care Advocate.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for case management and utilization review of behavioral health and substance abuse cases
  • Recommend and manage the appropriate level of care throughout the entire treatment plan
  • Focus on initial inpatient admission for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling; Licensed Ph.D.; or an RN
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
  • Possession of independent, active, and unrestricted licenses in the State of Arizona
  • 2+ years of experience in a related mental health environment
  • Ability to make patient assessments and determining appropriate levels of care
  • Ability to obtain information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
