Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Licensed Behavioral Health Care Coordinator.
Must be able to:
- Employ a variety of strategies, approaches and techniques to manage a member's physical, environmental and psycho-social health issues
- Identify and resolve barriers that hinder effective care
- Ensure the patient is progressing towards desired outcomes through continuous monitoring and assessments and/or evaluations
Qualifications for this position include:
- A current valid social service license, e.g. MSW, LCSW, LPC, LMHC
- A master's degree in a behavioral-health field, such as social work, psychology, or related health discipline from an accredited university
- A minimum 2 years of experience with serious mental illness and substance use disorder and related treatment modalities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 9AM to 6PM ET
- Having a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you and your patients have absolute and continuous privacy
