Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Remote Licensed Managed Care Pharmacist will make determinations on prior authorization requests for pharmaceutical coverage, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Make determinations on prior authorization requests, assessing medical necessity and benefit decisions
- Provide clinical support to the PerformRx Customer Care Centre and engage with providers to support determinations
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and operational directives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in any U.S. state
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist
- 3-5 years of experience with prior authorization processes
- Proficient in PC skills within a Windows-based environment
