Job Summary
A mental healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providng patient care and medication management, which includes initial consultations for depression and anxiety and follow-up visits for titration of medications, and monitoring
- Pairing with Care Counselors that help guide clients after their initial evaluations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- A psych certified nurse practitioner, licensed in Louisiana
- Demonstrated strength in empathetic and intuitive listening
- Demonstrated strength in relationship building
- Demonstrated strength in well-structured thought
- Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of multiple software systems (Slack, Google Suite, Doxy.me, etc.), or ability to learn quickly
- Comfort in prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate
