Job Summary
A health insurance company has an open position for a Remote Licensed Utilization Management Nurse .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Following established guidelines and procedures
- Coordinating and communicating with providers, members, or other parties to facilitate optimal care and treatment
Position Requirements Include:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the appropriate state(s) with no disciplinary action
- Prior clinical experience preferably in an acute care, post-acute, skilled or rehabilitation clinical setting
- Previous experience in utilization management
- Must have good typing skills and proficiency using MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- BSN or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Health Plan experience
