Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Remote Life and Disability Underwriter III.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Making appropriate risk, premium and business decisions and exceptions on all cases within assigned limits
  • Analyzing and identifying early and ongoing risk trends for assigned clients
  • Developing personal credibility with clients and peers

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of disability products including disability, life and supplemental health products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry and marketplace trends within the local marketplace for assigned clients
  • Creative problem solving/analytical reasoning skills
  • Strong math aptitude
  • 1 to 3 years of group insurance underwriting experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
