Job Summary
An insurance company is seeking a Remote Life and Retirement Distribution Operational Risk Officer.
Must be able to:
- Provide guidance, support and consultation to Life and Retirement Distribution and Group Retirement management
- Collaborate with the Corporate ORM team responsible for the operational risk management framework to ensure compliance
- Support the ongoing application and deployment of company's operational risk management framework
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to various senior management audiences both in writing and in person
- Familiarity with life insurance products and related sales and distribution models
- Ten+ years of relevant risk/control experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across a large, geographically dispersed organization
- Understanding of industry standards related to Operational Risk with ability to think out of the box in implementation options
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to address risk and control challenges
