Job Summary

A large mutual life insurance company has an open position for a Remote Life Insurance Bilingual Korean Customer Service Representative.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound applicant interviews with both expediency and accuracy
  • Using various systems to: access the applicants' phone number to dial calls; manage and update the call disposition; etc
  • Assisting underwriters during the underwriting process by conducting follow up calls with applicants for additional info

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak in English and Korean
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Ability to access databases and website at point of call
  • Ability to trigger alerts to the Agent, General Office staff and/or Underwriter when necessary
