Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Life Insurance Senior Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Independently exercising judgment based on the evaluation of collected case data
  • Negotiating with RSO personnel, brokers, and clients to balance their needs
  • Submitting for supervisory review and approval all decisions

Position Requirements Include:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree
  • Five to seven years previous relevant underwriting experience
  • Working knowledge of group products for all lines of coverage
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to make decisions concerning the acceptability of Group Risks with minimal supervision
